Summer Our Reward

We made it through winter, survived the spring, and summer is our reward.

Library novels in wrinkled canvas totes, pitchers of lemonade iced tea, cotton quilts covering the couch, cicadas singing, days lagging, spending the heat of the afternoon reading in the dark of the house, keeping the tub scrubbed for cooling baths at the end of each day. What a joy & gift.

I am back on Substack! I am not there to share intellectual essays, engage in the mommy wars, or even share anything particularly useful, but to continue capturing home through the seasons and every good path that lies therein, as I have done here for so many years.

My full body of work can still be found here on my website (for now), but my future work will also be posted and emailed out through Every Good Path. I’m no longer paying monthly for an email host, so if you want to be notified and emailed when I make a new post, you’ll have to subscribe through Substack. I just painstakingly paid my website renewal fee for another year so my blogs and ebooks remain available to you all, but I’m not sure where things will go from here. Substack seems like a start. Hope to see you there? :)
